Coach Mike Chadwick's 12 Week Challenge will provide an unrivalled foundation of strength and stability for those who wish to challenge themselves and train like a Tactical Athlete, surrounded and supported by likeminded people. All you need is a winning mindset.
As of Monday 27 September 21 you are required to conduct 1 week of testing to confirm your current ability. Tests required are: Back Squat 1rm, Deadlift 1rm, Strict Press 1rm, Bench Press 1rm, 5 min run, 5km run, 5 min 20m shuttle run
With your metrics taken during Test Week, you are provided with a bespoke challenge containing 43 sessions. Accurate prescription is key and the stimulus provided during each session, promotes positive adaptation!
Exercises are prescribed with your current ability, and as you develop, the challenge develops with you and gets progresively tougher. Each session your exact weight, reps, sets, tempo and rest are prescribed. This ensures you never under or over train.
On top of your minimum number of sessions, you are also provided with an extra 50 minimal equipment sessions. These can be added where you feel fit to do so in your programme, or when circumstances dictate and you no longer have access to equipment.
The challenge will optimise your ability to pass tests such as the 2km best effort, MSFT, PES, and RFTs, 1.5mile best effort + plus many more by never guessing and providing you with the exact time, distance and speed. This is worked out to the exact meter and to the exact second, mixing long runs with interval and shuttle training.
Only you will see your ability, but you can analysis and compare your ability against others. These numbers are taken at the start of everyone's challenge. By following the challenge with your upmost effort, you will destroy those starting numbers and optimise your potential. It is you v you.
You can also share your advice and wins with others in a private Facebook group. When 1 person wins we will win. Upon completion we will go back into another test week where I will be picking winners based on multiple factors such as improvements, performance, group interaction etc. There will be special webinars, live group chats hosted by me, with loads of prizes and giveaways from various companies.
Along with the private Facebook group you will have access to a closed mobile app for support and exercise instructional videos. You can track progress, send DMs and upload pictures and metrics on there. The Challenge is sent via the app which can be printed or saved and used offline.
Information shared between coach and athlete is completely confidential. You will need to sign a GDPR to allow me to use your information to build your challenge. Your test results will be added to a challenge average, but never associated to you. You can share as much or as little information as you wish.
